Carrie began her adventure with Austin Fit in 2008 her first year was not as expected, work derailed her training and she did not reach her initial goal.  She joined up again and convinced a friend to come along.  If you have experienced trails while training, such as injuries, blisters, wrong shoes, wrong gear while training in the rain and leaving your jacket at home when it was 40 out, then talk to Carrie.  She has truly worked through all the details to know how to have a bad training season turn into a great adventure.  Each week she has inspired others to just have fun.  Her smile keeps us all going strong as we push past 10 miles.  In 2012 she created bumper stickers for the walking group and there is one waiting for you!
