CONGRATULATIONS to all those who just completed the summer training for fall races, including the San Antonio Rock N Roll Marathon and Half Marathon this past weekend! All those who endured the immense heat and challenging conditions at the race deserve special recognition.

But what should you do now? After days of rest (for beginners, it should be 1 day for every mile you ran; for experienced runners, it can be less), you can now transfer into Austin Fit's fall training for winter marathons and half marathons, including the 3M Half Marathon and the Livestrong Austin full marathon and half marathon.

Online registration is NOW OPEN!! Please go to our online Registration Page to SIGN UP NOW! Or, you may show up at 6:30 AM this coming Saturday to register in person. Either way, you only pay a $25 transfer fee to move into the winter marathon program and extend your training by the additional 3 months ($35 for summer ATP participants moving into the winter ATP group).

  • In person registration takes place on Saturdays AFTER the long run or walk. We meet at 150 E. Riverside TxDOT (by Congress Ave and Austin American Statesman) Cash or Check ONLY (Total Cost: $100 New Members, $75 Returning Members, $125 ATP-Advanced Training)
  • Please arrive at 6:45 to meet with your group and coach before the run or walk
  • We start at 7:00 AM sharp!!
  • After your run or walk stretch with your coach and then join the group for breakfast

USA Fit Austin

Welcome to USA Fit Austin. We are a training program for runners and walkers, designed with the goal of completing a full marathon or half marathon, 10K, 5K or just to obtain a better fitness level! We have two training seasons for longer distance races: One in the spring/summer for the San Antonio Rock ‘N’ Roll Marathon and Half Marathon (mid-November) and one in the fall/winter for the Austin Marathon and Half Marathon (mid-February), and 3M Half Marathon (3rd week in January). We are also an official training program for the Austin American-Statesman Capitol 10,000, with groups at four different times, days and locations. Our training programs may be altered to train for the Dallas White Rock Marathon in December, the Houston Marathon and Half Marathon in January, the Tyler Half Marathon, and others across the state and the region during that 6-8 month time frame. We also provide training for the Zooma Women’s Half Marathon in April, and Get Fit, a 5K program that occurs at various times throughout the year. And of course you don’t have to actually do on of these races if you don’t want to – you could just do the program for the challenge or just to get in better shape.

Our coaches are devoted to getting you in the best shape of your life in a non-intimidating, fun, and safe environment. Upon joining, you will receive day-by-day training schedules, Group runs, access to trained and certified coaches, informational seminars and a USA Fit Austin technical shirt.



Ask anyone who has trained with us, completing their goal of getting in shape or finishing a 5K, 10K, half or full marathon, and I'm sure they will tell you Austin Fit has truly changed his/her life. You will feel physically fit, happier, and mentally stronger; and all in a short 27 weeks (or 12 weeks for the 5K or 10K programs).

Whether you are a couch-potato, walker, casual jogger, or marathon veteran, our training programs are the most enjoyable, most inspiring, and most efficient way to get in the best shape of your life.

Does just hearing the word marathon make you shake in your shoes? That's okay, come out and join us anyway. You will have fun and meet other people just like you to exercise with and help you accomplish your fitness goals. We welcome everyone, and will find a group and coach to walk or run with you!
