It's All True

This was my first marathon. I'm glad I trained with Austin Fit. All the things that I was told did hold true. I did not sleep well the night before the race. I finally got up at 4 AM. I saw it was going to ran so I had a garbage bag cut out so I could wear it. But I was not ready for the heat and humidity and then the sun.

The last five miles were mental, even though physically I could hardly lift my legs. It was great to have crowds cheering and especially seeing Austin Fit people along the way on the sidelines.

It was my goal to finish and I did. My time was fine (if it was only in the 40s) but finishing my first marathon was great for me. I did get my metal but I didn't see the t-shirts with the I finished the marathon.

If anyone has any ideas on how I can get a t-shirt that would be appreciated.

I feel my muscles from a number of places but that let's me know the achievement.

Thanks to all your support, especially the Yellow Group (8:30). Your advice and support made this possible.
